just read this really intersting story on salon.com. you'll probably have to get the free day pass but, it's worth it. it's a very surreal tale of some salon journalists sneaking into new orleans and parts are screwed up but, i did find out that the french quarter was 80-90 percent undamaged. now it's sort of messed up that the brennan family is down there at the restaurant they own (they own many) trading prime rib for showers at the royal omni hotel with the police but, in the long view the historical aspects are safe. however the much more important issue at hand is the fate of the people who aren't so lucky. this is going to get worse before it gets better and the nation is going to have to take a long look at this nations impovershed and what to do about it before its over

well they better take down vegas. the sand can't support the casinos on the strip. that actually guarantees construction over there. it costs less money to knock one down and build new than it does to repair the old.

yes and after hearing about rumblings of finding technology to boost water supply via the great lakes, nichigan has taken stps to protect its watershed. folks out there either have to learn to de-salinate the ocean or do without lawns
sure, but the point is that there is no need for kentucky bluegrass in the desert.
maybe, but maybe they also might just bitch that hey don't have any water for their grass and complain that they want someone els's water. it's just a hypothetical
